LAWRENCE BATEMAN CROCKER passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, in his 85th year. He was the beloved husband of 52 years to Leona Crocker (nee Wartman); cherished son of the late Bunting and Nancy Crocker (nee Bateman); brother to Tim (Sally); proud father to Sarah (Ted) and Peter (Becky); and devoted Papa to Peyton, Ireland, Bennett and Hannah. Born in Kirkland Lake, Lawrence moved with his family to Toronto in the 1950s. For the last 38 years, Lawrence and family were cottagers on Sturgeon Lake and retired there in 2012. He was a proud alumnus of Lakefield College and a dedicated 20-year member of the Canadian Sport Parachuting Association. He enjoyed a long successful career as Collection Manager at Fraser Milner Casgrain. Friends and family are welcome to join us as we celebrate his life on Sunday, February 22nd, at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay St. N., Lindsay, from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. Eulogy at 3:00 p.m.
