Laurabel Evelyn Chevalier

Laurabel Evelyn Chevalier of Peterborough, Ontario, born on February 18, 1930, passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 96. She was predeceased by her husband, John, and her brothers, Ken Barrie (late Pat) and John Barrie (late Nancy). Laurabel is survived by her children, Karen (Ian Kirkland), Shawn (Rebekah), Cheryl, and Don (Deb), along with her grandchildren, Jared, Braden (Myka), Jeremy (Katherine), James (Gillian), Lindsay (Rob), Daniel (Amy), Theresa (Brandon), Kendra (Pascal), Jeffrey (Julia), Dylan (Katie), Julia, Aleesha (Jared), and Victoria. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Ira, Maude, Ellis, Leo, and Kathryn, as well as her family members, Laurie, John, and Bancroft. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ashburnham Funeral Home & Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nicholls Civic Nurses Alumnae Prize in her memory.
