JULIA REEVES

Julia Reeves (nee Stanley) passed away on February 14, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on April 1, 1948, in Toronto, she was raised in Scarborough and attended Porter High School. Julia married Brian in 1965 and became a mother to Carrie in 1966. She began a 30-year career at Bell, eventually becoming a manager in accounts billing and receivables. Julia was known for her warmth, kindness, and beautiful human spirit, which made her a beloved friend and caretaker to many people and animals. She is survived by her husband, Brian; daughter, Carrie (Gary) Branton; grandchildren, Angela and Cameron Branton; sister, Janice Coombs (Bill); sisters-in-law, Marion (Jack), Diane (Jeff), Kim (Jim); and nieces and nephews, Lea (Brad), Angie, Meg (Jake), Jessica (Matt), Tim (Jane), Daniel, Katie (Dar), Jeremy (deceased - Sue). Julia was predeceased by her parents, William and Alice Stanley; brothers, Jack, Jeff, and Jim. A Celebration of Life will take place in the summer, with details to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Julia's name to www.hospicepeterborough.org, who provided her family with care and support for 7 weeks.
