John Gordon Mason

The family of John Gordon Mason of Peterborough, Ontario, announces his passing on August 24, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on June 28, 1934, John is fondly remembered by his family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Claire Mason, and his brother Bruce. John is survived by his beloved wife Marie, his children David, Cindy, and Jennifer, and his son-in-law Barry Craft. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Tyler, Jacquelyn, Mitchel, Erica, Curtis, Cady, Jadeyn, and Brendan, along with his great-grandchildren Margot, Stella, and Audrey. A celebration of life took place on September 8, 2026, at the Comstock - Kaye Life Celebration Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the PRHC Foundation or the Peterborough Humane Society.
