Joan Martin

The family of Joan Martin announces her passing on September 15, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on May 5, 1935, in Peterborough, Ontario, Joan is fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack, and her parents, John and Fannie Begley. Joan is survived by her children: John (Gail O'Brien), Anne Harder (Ralph), Rick (Tina Bautista), Pat (Tracy Sutton), and Dan (Heather Holland). Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Highland Park Funeral Centre, located at 2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, 859 Barnardo Ave, Peterborough. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Peterborough or a charity of choice are welcomed.
