Joan Marie West (nee Stillman)

Joan Marie West, nee Stillman, passed away peacefully at Hospice Peterborough on August 8, 2026, at the age of 82. She was the beloved wife of the late Marvin Dean West and loving mother of Deborah, Nancy, Sherry, and Stuart. Joan is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas Hobbs, Sydney, Isabelle, Jake Haaima, and Dean. She will be deeply missed by her siblings, Bill Stillman, Ann Puffer, Linda Hatton, and Brenda Langford, as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends, including Doris Johnson and Mary Stillman. A Celebration of Life will be held at Nisbett Funeral Home on August 16, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by interment at Bible Christian Cemetery in Plainville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Peterborough.
