Jacqueline Elnor MAKIEWICZ (née Mahoney)

Jacqueline Elnor Makiewicz (née Mahoney) passed away peacefully with family by her side at Hospice Peterborough on Sunday, June 14, 2026, in her 87th year, at the age of 86. She was the beloved wife of the late John Makiewicz. Jacqueline is lovingly remembered by her children, Maria Makiewicz, David Makiewicz (Melissa), Daniel Makiewicz (Shirley), Sharon MacLeod, and the late Richard Makiewicz. She will be sadly missed by her many grandchildren: Paul and Nicole Makiewicz, Bellasol and Elijah Makiewicz, and Brittany Lehigh and Kai MacLeod. A Memorial Talk and Celebration of Jacqueline's Life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2137 Davis Road, Cavan, Ontario. The service may also be viewed via Zoom. In memory of Jacqueline, donations to Hospice Peterborough would be appreciated by the family and may be made through Highland Park Funeral Centre.
