Irene Payne

Irene Payne, a resident of Peterborough, Ontario, passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on November 17, 1931, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Payne (Larry), her son Rob, her parents Eleanor and Arthur Davies, and her siblings Robert Davies, Eleanor Hooper, and Muriel Post. Irene is survived by her grandchildren: Jacqueline, Alicia, Devin (Olivia), Matt (Danielle), Kaleigh (Mike), Luke (Megan), Caitlyn (Rodrick), Kristin (Dave), Blake, Michelle (Dan), and Lisa (Chris), as well as her sister Marion Wilson and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, both at Highland Park Funeral Centre. A burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
