Helen Shea

Helen Muriel Shea (Thackeray) passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, at the age of 94. She was predeceased by her parents, Cecil and Muriel Thackeray, and by her husband, Stuart Shea. Helen is survived by her sister, Lola, and was predeceased by her siblings, Jean, Evelyn, Marj, Phyllis, Roy, Lyle, Doug, and Garnet. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Sheldon (Nancy), Gary (Christine), Allan (Myra), Patricia (predeceased by Michael), Catherine (Kevin), Terry (Sylvia), and Carolyn. Helen is also survived by her 19 grandchildren and 32 beloved great-grandchildren. She was born on January 2, 1932, in Tisdale, Saskatchewan.
