HECTOR ANGEL FIELDS

Hector Angel Fields, born April 22, 1937, in Rosario, Argentina, passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 88. He was a beloved husband of Kathleen for 43 years, and adored his stepdaughter, Laura, and 'adopted' stepdaughter, Shelley. As Tio, he cherished his nieces and nephew and their families. He also held dear his two sisters-in-law, Patricia and Ruth, and their families. Hector was predeceased by his parents, Josefina and Hector, his sisters, Perla (Jorge) and Susana (Carlos), and his in-laws, Evelyn and William. Hector was a kind, funny, and gentle man who loved animals, nature, and travel. He will be missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life service will follow in the spring. Donations can be made to the Peterborough Humane Society, the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society, or to the charity of choice.
