Hazel Ritchie

Hazel Ritchie, née Webster, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, at the age of 88, surrounded by her family at Hospice Peterborough. Born on November 7, 1937, in Salford, England, Hazel was the devoted wife of the late Kenneth Ritchie, who predeceased her seven months ago. The couple would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this year. Hazel is survived by her daughters, Nicola Kaufman and Andrea Shury, and their spouses, as well as her grandchildren, James, Robert, Lilyanne, and Amelia, and great-grandchildren, Kylie and Norah. She is also survived by her siblings, Marjorie, Beryl, and Jim, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Christine and Frank Prescott. Hazel was predeceased by her siblings, Roland, Bill, Iris, and Rose. She will be deeply missed by her family, extended family, and many friends. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Highland Park Funeral Centre.
