Gerald Allan WOODBECK

Gerald Allan Woodbeck, also known as Al, passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on April 26, 2026, at the age of 81. He was the beloved husband of Marie, loving and devoted father of Sonya, Cindy (Peter), and Scott (Marion). Al was a proud grandfather of Sabrina, Samantha (Daniel), Danielle, Troy, Dawson (Brooklyn), Layla, and Harmony, and an adoring great-grandfather of Atlas, Echo, and Emilia. He is also survived by his brothers Marjorie (late Earl), Frank (Marion), Raymond (Phyllis), David, Randy (Diana Lynn), and his brothers-in-law Sean (Yvonne), Derek (late Anne), Michael (late Anne), Pat (Barb), and Joan (late Gerry). Al was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Mabel (nee Moffatt), his late wife Linda, his siblings Doreen, Bill (late Gertie), Patsy (late Mel), Keith, and Mary Lou, and his brother-in-law Gerry. A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion on Lansdowne Street, Peterborough, on June 27th, from 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. with words shared at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of the many charities Al and Marie supported, including Kawartha Food Share, Lung Association, and Heart and Stroke.
