George Robert Ewald

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of George Robert Ewald of Peterborough, Ontario, who departed this life on October 3, 2026, at the age of 94. George was born on December 3, 1931. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Shirley, as well as his parents, George and Rosella. George is survived by his daughter, Catherine; his siblings, Marg and Frank; his granddaughter-in-law, Susan; his brother, Dave (Judy); his sister-in-law, Carolyn (Don); and his children, Colleen (Steve), George IV (Karen), and Andrea (Jason). He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Ryan (Sue), Raechelle (Dave), Jenny (Juan), Graeme (Stef), Charity (Don), Josh, Piper, Ryder, Declan, Kohen, and Lucy. A celebration of life took place on October 9, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Kaye Life Celebration Centre, located at 356 Rubidge St, Peterborough, ON K9H4C7. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Benevolent Fund at Centennial Place Long Term Care in Millbrook.
