Gayle Freeburn of Peterborough, Ontario, passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on May 10, 1943, Gayle is fondly remembered by her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Tammy (Richard) and Jeff (Sharon), as well as her granddaughters, Abby (Quinn), Lauryn, Mayve (Kendall), Sarah, and Julia. Gayle is also survived by her brother Don Anderson (Lois) and her brother-in-law Ted Freeburn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gayle's memory to Keene United Church or Hospice Peterborough. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the memories she created will be cherished by all who knew her.
