Elsie Akey

Elsie Akey passed away on June 30, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late John Akey. Elsie was a loving mother to her children, John and his wife Samantha, Ken and his wife Rhonda, and Rob and his wife Tammy. She was a devoted Nana to Brandon and his wife Devon, Brian and his wife Monica, Travis and his wife Maddy, Tyler, Miranda, and Alexis. Elsie was also a cherished great Nana of Thomas. She will be missed by all her friends at Activity Haven and those she met through her years of involvement with the Youth Bowling Association. Family and friends are invited to the Celebration of Life for Elsie on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 12 - 3 p.m. at Activity Haven Senior Centre, 180 Barnardo Ave., Peterborough. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Elsie's memory may be made to Activity Haven, a place that was dear to her heart.
