Earl Leslie HASTINGS

Earl Leslie Hastings passed away peacefully at Pleasant Meadow Manor, Norwood on May 10, 2026, at the age of 90. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Norma, to whom he was married for 68 years, and his daughters, Patricia, Pamela, Leisa, and Kimberly and her husband Damon. Born in Alliston, Ontario to Samuel Leslie and Glenna Irene Hastings, Earl was the brother of Ruth and Margaret. He was a long-time employee of Bell Canada and a grandfather to Bryan, Steven, Patrick, Andrew, Zachary, Jacob, Joey, Lucas, Alex, Matthew, and Aiden. Earl was also a great-grandfather to Braelyn, Callie, Rorik, Teagan, Mia, Aria, Luca, Levi, and Owen. His cottage on Chandos Lake was his favorite place to be for 46 years, serving as a summer gathering place for his family, where many fond memories were made. Cremation has taken place, with private interment at Rosemount Memorial Garden.
