Douglas Arthur Waters

Douglas Arthur Waters passed away on July 17, 2026, at Hospice Peterborough, surrounded by family and friends. He was the oldest son of Helen and the late Everett Waters of Norwood. Douglas is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sheri, and her children Kelly, Tom, Stacy, Bonnie, and Bill, as well as step-grandchildren Michael, Arron, D.J., Dan, Katie, and Jacey. He is also survived by his brother Don and his wife Bev, and his niece Lilian. Douglas was predeceased by his brother Dave and his father Everett. He enjoyed various hobbies including snow skiing, water skiing, boating, and snowmobiling. Douglas had a successful career as a licensed mechanic, owning his own garage, Doug Waters Sunoco, in Norwood, and later founded Doug Waters Trucking. A celebration of his life will be held at the Norwood Legion on September 26, 2026, from 4 to 8 p.m.
