Doreen MANLEY (nee Ferguson)

Doreen Manley (nee Ferguson) passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on August 30, 2026, in her 96th year. She was the beloved wife of the late Elwood Manley (2016) and a devoted mother to Rodney, Randee Guscott (Al), Robin Arnott (Doug), Reed Manley (Nancy), and the late Rhonda Holland (Bob). Doreen was a cherished grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Carolee Huffman (Fred), and her brothers, Stewart (Cathy, predeceased) and Jack Ferguson (Sally, predeceased). A dedicated member of Mark Street United Church and its choir, Doreen also served as a Life Member and Past President of the UCW. She was involved with the Jubilaires, Learning and Leisure, and the Maple Ridge Seniors Bridge Groups, as well as the Peterborough Theatre Guild and St. James Players. Friends and family are invited to her Funeral Service at Mark Street United Church on September 10th at 1:00 p.m., followed by a light luncheon. Private interment will take place at Little Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mark Street United Church Memorial Fund are appreciated.
