Darrin (Dewey) WATTS

Darrin Todd Watts passed away suddenly on May 8, 2026, at the age of 57, while away doing what he loved - spending the pickerel season opener with friends. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Nancy Watts for 29 years. Loving father of Gregory Watts (Laurel). Cherished grandfather, 'Papa D' of Brielle and Scottie. Dear son of Alex and Phylis Watts, and brother of Dean (Anita) and Cory (Marie) Watts. Much-loved uncle of Lisa (Dan), Logan (Kim), Courtney (Jay), Brandon and Justin (Maryann), and very special great uncle to Maddie and Rein, Nolan, Lukas, and Kinsley. Darrin loved the outdoors and spent countless hours hunting and fishing with family and friends, creating many memories at Crane Lake. He was also an avid sports fan with a lifelong love for the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Darrin had an extensive network of close friends and colleagues, many of whom felt like family. He will be deeply missed by his coworkers at Noble and by the community of Pontypool. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Peterborough or the Pontypool Community Centre. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Pontypool Community Centre, 254 John Street, Pontypool, ON.
