Betty Ann Ahern

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Betty Ann Ahern of Peterborough, Ontario, who departed this life on September 19, 2026, at the age of 82. Betty Ann was born on August 5, 1944. She was predeceased by her parents, William Cavanagh and Opal Driscoll; her brother Ron Cavanagh (Barb); her husband David Ahern; and her brother-in-law Brian Ahern (Karen). She is survived by her children, Kim Ahern (late Gerry Mason), Debbie Wainman (Mark), David Ahern (Debbie), and Greg Ahern (Nicole); her grandchildren, Sarah, Mike, Zack (Carly), Braeden (Marissa), Josh (Emma), Amanda, Joe, Nicholas (Olivia), Taylor (Evan), Payton, and Tyson; her great-grandchildren, Kai, Lainey, and Lennon; and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Clark (late Lew). A funeral Mass will take place on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the Cathedral of St. Peter, followed by burial at St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation or Standardbred Adoption Society are appreciated.
