Bethany Lara Denson

Bethany Lara Denson passed away on March 31, 2026, at the age of 38. She died at the Northumberland Hospital in Cobourg after a brief battle with overwhelming infection. Bethany is deeply missed by her parents, Joan Nagy and stepfather Frank Denton; by her siblings, Michael Denson and Remi Denton; by her Uncle, Terry Nagy and Aunt, Patt and their family; by her cousins, niece and nephew on Joan's side of the family; by her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins on Frank's side; and by her Denson family of cousins, aunts and uncles in Australia. Her biological father is John Denson. Bethany had a special way with children and had formed close bonds with her niece Jillian and was getting to know her niece Willow. She also had a special relationship with her cousin Kerri Nagy's children, Kaleb, Abigail and Amelia. Bethany had happy travel memories, including several trips to visit her family in Australia and two epic RV journeys across Canada. She loved to spend time at Pigeon Lake in Bobcaygeon and appreciated the small things in the world. Bethany's beautiful smile, kindness, and caring manner brought warmth to others. She is predeceased by no one mentioned in the obituary.
