Allen McCAMUS

Allen McCamus passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, June 22, 2026, at the age of 86. He was the beloved husband of Waunetta Dawson and loving father of Ruth McCamus (Dave Burrows). Allen was the dear brother of the late Marion (McCamus) Rowe and brother-in-law of Dori Dawson, predeceased by her husband Tom Dawson. He will be remembered as a long-time farmer of Cavan and for his dedication and 50-year commitment to St. John's Cemetery, Ida. Private arrangements have been entrusted to Highland Park Funeral Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation or Hospice Peterborough.
