Richard Douglas Atkinson

Richard Douglas Atkinson of Perth, Ontario, died on August 15, 2026, at the age of 91. He was born on October 17, 1934. He was predeceased by his parents, Gladys Burke and Douglas Atkinson, his siblings Donald, Jack and Ruth, and his wife Rhoda. He is survived by his children John (married to Mary Anne), Jann (married to Peter) and Elaine (married to Keith); his grandchildren Robert (married to Kim), David (married to Chelsea), Katherine, Andrew (married to Emily), Cass (married to Kaitlyn) and Stuart (married to Cynthia); his friend Margaret Elliott; and two great‑grandsons and two great‑granddaughters. Memorial contributions to a charity of the donor’s choice are welcomed by the family.
