Peter Jeffrey Nelson passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 86. He was born on June 30, 1940, in Perth, Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents, Evelyn May and Reginald E. Nelson, and his sister Patricia Anne. He is survived by his wife, L. Ruth of Perth; his sons, Jeffrey G. Nelson and Andrew J. Nelson; and his grandsons, Caleb, Frederic, and Oscar, all of Eastern Ontario. A celebration of life is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W, Perth, ON K7H2L7. In his memory, contributions may be made to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation – Perth Site.
