Glen Allan Thompson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glen Allan Thompson of Perth, Ontario, who departed this life on September 13, 2026, at the age of 92. Glen was born on August 22, 1934. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Elizabeth "Beth" Gordon, as well as his parents, Gladys (Anderson) and Allan Thompson. Glen is survived by his sons, Peter (Maggie) and Paul (Cory), along with his grandchildren, Jared, Madison, Riley (Samantha), and Brayden (Emily). He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Brayden, Reid, Shaelee, and Karter, and his sister, Gail Drummond (late Bob). Glen will be missed by many nieces, nephews, neighbors, extended family, and friends. Visitation will take place on September 21, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Blair & Son Funeral Home Chapel. A burial will follow at Campbell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital – Perth Site or the Lanark-Balderson Pastoral Charge would be appreciated.
