Gerald James Cardinal

Gerald James Cardinal of Perth, Ontario, born on December 26, 1944, passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 81. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Evelyn Cardinal, as well as his parents, Gerald and Audrey Cardinal, his sisters Joan Shanks and Gail Goodbody, his sister-in-law Marie Cardinal, and his friend Eileen Burke. Gerald is survived by his siblings Judy Laurin (Terry), Billy Cardinal (Bev), Ronnie Cardinal, and Beverly Cardinal. He leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, including Chris (Alyson), Kori, Kelly (Jim), Julie, Terry-John, Tara (Jody), Tyler (Joanna), and Melissa, along with great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Blair & Son Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Lanark Animal Welfare Society or Diabetes Canada.
