Alan Jonathan Preston

Alan Jonathan Preston of Perth, Ontario, passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 96. He was born on October 9, 1929. He was predeceased by his parents, Hazel and Alexander Preston, and by his siblings Melvin (survived by Helen), Eric (survived by Wavey), Ralph, and Winnifred (survived by Walter Scott). He is survived by his children Kathy (married to Peter Scanlon), Peggy (married to David Gauci), Amy (married to Ted O'Grady) and Norman (married to Anne Warnock); his grandchildren Alex, Caitlin, Ben, Katie, Nick, Rosie, Charlie, Mairi and Devlin; and his brother Charlie (married to Mary). A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in St. James the Apostle Anglican Church, 12 Harvey Street, Perth, ON K7H1W4.
