Yvette Lafreniere

Yvette Lafreniere of Penetanguishene, Ontario, was born on June 12, 1942, and died on August 5, 2026, at the age of 84. She was predeceased by her parents, Andre and Claudia Lafreniere, and her siblings Beatrice, Omer, Paul, Hilaire, Jeanne, Rosaire, Eva, Wilfred and Margaret. Survivors include her children Christina, Carolann (Greg), Perry, Anita and Steven; grandchildren Shane (Jessica), David (Whitny), Michael and Brandy; and great‑grandchild Olive. Visitation took place on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home, 155 Main Street, Penetanguishene, ON. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at St. Patrick's Cemetery, 2 County Rd 6 N, Tiny, ON. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice Huronia or the Midland OSPCA.
