Steven Ronald Jackson of Penetanguishene, Ontario, passed away on August 15, 2026, at the age of 58. He was born on June 21, 1968. He was predeceased by his brothers Freddy, Richard and Kenny. He is survived by his parents, Joanne Jackson and Fredrick Jackson Sr.; his nieces and nephews Patricia (Hazel), Ashley, Justin, Kayla (Kyle), Keith (Megan) and Stephanie; his great‑nieces and great‑nephews Aaliyah, Kaden, Kierra, Justice, Rylee, Lucas, Levi, Sophia, Eloise Trinity, Kenny and Olivia; as well as his aunts, uncles, numerous cousins and many friends. Visitation was held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home, 155 Main St, Penetanguishene, ON L9M 1L7. A funeral service took place on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, 62 Mkade Kegwin Miikan, Christian Island, ON L9M 0A9, followed by burial at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Cemetery, 90 O'Gemaa Miikan, Simcoe County, ON L9M 0A9, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A reception was held later that afternoon, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Christian Island Recreation Centre, 11 Ogemaa Miikaan, Christian Island, ON L9M 0A9.
