Remi Gignac

Remi Gignac, born May 1, 1932, died on August 20, 2026, at the age of 94. He is survived by his wife Yvonne Gignac; his children Kathleen Forget, Patrick Gignac, Louise Zoschke, Denise Hayes and Brenda Biggs; his grandchildren Brent Forget, Jessica Hamelin, Adam Gignac, Dean Hayes, Lance Hayes, Felicia Morden, Rachel Salaun, Sarah Antoine and Brett Gignac; and his great‑grandchildren Gavin, Neve, Hudson Hamelin, Eden, Lilith Hayes, Felex, Casey Morden, Theo, Maya Salaun and Emery Gignac. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, 28 Robert Street West, Penetanguishene, Ontario, followed by a reception at the same location until 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the G.B.G.H. in his honour.
