Elva Jean (Brown) Trew passed away in Penetanguishene, Ontario on July 29, 2026. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald Trew, her son David Trew (who was married to Nancy Mendonca), and her sister Joanie. Survivors include her son Jeffrey Trew, daughter‑in‑law Heather Torrance, grandchildren Joel (with Angela), Lindsey (with Jordan) and Meghan (with Wes), great‑grandchildren Grant, Eden, Kylie, Jacob, Jaxson, Carter and Archie, and her sibling Izzi. Visitation was held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Lynn‑Stone Funeral Home, 15 Yonge St S, Elmvale, ON L0L 1P0, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the same location. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Daily Bread in her memory.
