Ron Carnegie

Ron Carnegie, a resident of Pembroke, Ontario, died on August 23, 2026, at the age of 88. He was born on June 4, 1938. He was predeceased by his parents, Reginald Grant Carnegie and Marie, and his brother Glen Carnegie. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Dyelle; his children, Dwight Carnegie (Todd Francoeur) and Karey Lynn Leach (Todd Giroux), both of Pembroke; his grandchildren, Jared Leach and Jessica Buelow (Marcus); and his great‑grandchildren, Sophie and Levi Leach. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke, ON K8A5R8. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the same location, with burial at 12:00 p.m. in Westmeath Union Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
