The family announces the passing of Mark Schauer of Pembroke, Ontario, on October 21, 2026, at the age of 64. Mark was born on October 22, 1961. He is survived by his significant other, Patricia Schauer (Krüning); his sons, Colin Schauer and Brandon Schauer; his parents, Elmer Schauer and Darlene Schauer; his brother, Bruce Schauer (Sharon); and his father-in-law, Ralf Krüning (late Gabriella). Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, located at 141 Renfrew St, Pembroke, ON K8A5R8. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM on the same day. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen are appreciated.
