Margaret McBean

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret McBean of Pembroke, Ontario, who departed this life on September 27, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on March 23, 1929, Margaret is remembered fondly by family and friends for her warmth and thoughtfulness. She was predeceased by her siblings, Kevin, Malachi, Patricia, Mary, Dympna, Therese, and Floyd. Margaret is survived by her sisters, Norah Henehan and Angela Kanik; her stepdaughter, Lee Blais (McBean); her grandson, Ryan McBean (Cathleen); and her great-grandchildren, Athena and Kairo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Columbkille's Cathedral, located at 188 Renfrew St, Pembroke, ON K8A5R3.
