Katherine Moffat

Katherine Moffat of Pembroke, Ontario, passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 100. Born on September 13, 1925, Katherine was a beloved member of her family and community. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Moffat (Hank), her children, John Moffat (Sonja) and Nancy Moffat, as well as her grandchildren: Charity Szeles, Edward Carter (Stephanie), Mark Moffat, Sarah Graham (Chris), Anthony Berndt (Madelaine), and Andrew Berndt (Ashley). Katherine was also cherished by ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 12:30 PM at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, located at 141 Renfrew St, Pembroke, ON K8A5R8. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Montreal, QC.
