Katherine (Groskleg) Turcotte of Pembroke, Ontario, was born on June 20, 1948, and died on August 25, 2026, at the age of 78. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Mary Groskleg, her brother Wilbert Groskleg, and her close friend Ted Switzer. She is survived by her children Mark (with partner Rayna), Michael and Jennifer; her grandchildren Brady, Rachel (with partner Josh), Nickolas, Jacob, Hayley and Mariah; her brother Ronald (with partner Judy Groskleg); and her sister‑in‑law Corrine Groskleg. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the Grace Lutheran Locksley Church.
