Jim Karau

Jim Karau, a resident of Pembroke, Ontario, was born on December 12, 1953, and died on August 21, 2026, at the age of 72. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Clara Karau. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; his children, Adam, Ian and Sara; his sister, Marilyn Provost (Dick); and his sisters‑in‑law, Isobel Watson (Barry) and Glen McMullen (late Penny), as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, August 31, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., both at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 357 Miller Street, Pembroke, ON K8A5Y8. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
