Jessie Butler

Jessie Butler of Pembroke, Ontario, was born on July 27, 1934, and died on August 10, 2026, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Laura, her mothers Alpin Ferguson and Emily Ferguson, and her siblings Flossie Simmons (late Roy), Grant Ferguson, Howard Ferguson (late Barbara), Ray Ferguson (late Ann) and Gerald Ferguson (Gwen). She is survived by her children Shirley Lastiwka (married to Yvon), Gloria Bergsma (married to Alex), Connie Moreau (married to Dan), Albert Ferguson and Stewart Ferguson (married to Brenda); her grandchildren Tyler Lastiwka, Karen Bergsma, Jason Moreau, Juston Moreau, Chantel Barrett (married to Dean), Michael Ferguson, Joshua Ferguson and Jeremiah Ferguson; as well as twelve great‑grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Calvin United Cemetery, 771 Boundary Rd E, Pembroke, ON K8A. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Calvin Memorial Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society.
