David Jonas

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Jonas of Pembroke, Ontario, who departed this life on September 23, 2026, at the age of 69. David is survived by his beloved wife, Maureen Jonas, and their children, Crystal Courtney (Jason) and Nathan Jonas. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Zoe, Peyton, Logan Courtney, Oliver, and Emma Jonas, as well as his brother Bruce Jonas (Mary Lou) and numerous nephews and friends. David was predeceased by his sisters, Sheila Jonas and Betty Jonas, and his father, Herbert. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Murphy Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory may be made to the Irving Greenberg Cancer Centre or St. Timothy's Lutheran Church.
