William "Bill" Gerald GRIMWOOD

William Gerald Grimwood, known as Bill, passed away unexpectedly on September 5, 2026, at Welland Hospital, surrounded by his family after suffering a heart attack the previous day while out for a walk. Born on June 16, 1950, he was the only child of Irene and Bill Grimwood and spent his entire life in the Town of Pelham. Bill married Susan Eller in 1972, and together they raised two children, Sarah Morrison (Dean) and William Grimwood. He was a devoted grandfather to Thomas and Norah Morrison. Bill had a career in track maintenance with CN Rail, Conrail, and the Canadian Pacific Railway. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and was a hobby beekeeper, actively participating in the Niagara Beekeeping Association. Visitation will be held at Pleasantview Funeral Home on September 9, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place afterward, with light refreshments served post-interment.
