The family of Verna Roy announces her passing on July 19, 2026, in Parry Sound, Ontario. Verna was predeceased by her beloved spouse Gerry, her parents Victor and Desneiges Roy, and her brothers Richard and Raymond. She is survived by her daughter Lynne, her grandchildren Sarah and Matthew, and her brothers Yvon and Ronald. Verna is also remembered by her sisters-in-law Claire, Carol Roy, Gloria, and Mary Roy, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation.
