Seymour Borrell

The family of Seymour Borrell of Parry Sound, Ontario, announces his passing on August 12, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on April 12, 1935, Seymour is remembered by family, friends, and all who knew him. He was predeceased by his wife Lynn Brierley and his daughter Janet. He is survived by his son Ian Borrell and his partner Jill Mathieson, along with his grandchildren Lindsay, Jordan, Scott, Chelsea (Jorge), Aidan, and Lily, as well as his great-grandchild Noah. Visitation will take place on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Torrance Funeral Home, located at 89 Bowes St, Parry Sound, ON P2A2L8, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Seymour's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Salvation Army in Parry Sound.
