Joan Emery

Joan Emery, born on September 26, 1938, passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 87. She was predeceased by her husband, Carman James Emery. Joan is survived by her children, Janine Morel (Rob), Cindy Kitchener (Bob), Bryan Emery (Jo Anne), Shawn Emery (Cory), Shannon Turcott (Glen), and Heidi Larocque (Rick); her siblings, Melody Palmer (Jerry) and Rhoddy Duhamel (Diane); and her grandchildren, Devon Emery, Scott Turcott, Justin Emery, Karlie Larocque, Nolan Emery, Rylee Emery, and Kristin Rhodenizer Rachel (Scull). A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Baril Community Centre located at 70 S Shore Rd, Pointe au Baril, ON P0G 1K0. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pointe au Baril Nursing Station would be greatly appreciated by the family.
