Murray Lyle HEWITSON

Murray Lyle Hewitson passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 81. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 48 years, Ruth Hewitson. Murray is survived by his children Richard and his wife Barb, Jody Marino and her husband John, and Lindsay. He was a proud papa to Tyler Clinton. Murray is also survived by his siblings-in-law Doug and his wife Jane, Alice and her husband John, Cathy and her husband George, and Wendy, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews and his vast circle of friends. He was predeceased by his parents Tom Hewitson and Cora Hewitson. A reception to celebrate Murray's life will be held at St. George United Church on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 3 - 5 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home. The family would appreciate donations to either St. George United Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Murray's memory.
