Douglas Eugene Robertson

The family announces the passing of Douglas Eugene Robertson of Paris, Ontario, on October 8, 2026. Born on May 26, 1930, Douglas was surrounded by many shared moments and relationships throughout his life. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Robertson; his children, Peggy Hutchinson, Virginia Little (Neil), Doug (Barb), and Russell (Erika); his grandchildren, Bryan, Darryl (Candice), Amber (Steve), Sandra, Jeffrey, Kate (Mike), Hillary (Alex), Beth (Brandon), and Rachel (Frederic); and his great-grandchildren, Taylor, Trent, Corran, Drucilla, Quin, Rose, Eli, Samuel, Thomas, Nathan, Lorelei, and Eric. Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home, located at 1105 Rest Acres Rd, Paris, ON N3L3E3. A memorial service followed at 12:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
