Claireete Saundra Laurine (nee Perrin) MARTIN

Claireete Saundra Laurine Martin (nee Perrin) passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the age of 85. She was the beloved wife of Ted (Edward) Martin and loving mother of Kevin (Carol) of Thornton, Ontario, and Kris of Paris, Ontario. Claireete was a cherished grandmother of Matthew (Taylorr), Tyler, Melissa, Mark, Eric, and Maiya. She was the devoted only child of the late Harold and Eleanor Perrin. Claireete was a proud graduate of Hamilton Teachers' College, Class of 1961, and taught primary grades at German's Central School and later served as a supply teacher with the Grand Erie District School Board. She faithfully served on the executive of the Brantford Christian Businesswomen's Club from 1968 until 2006 and volunteered her time helping with Chapel Services at Park Lane Terrace Nursing Home in Paris, Ontario. A gifted vocalist, Claireete shared her love of music as a soloist in church services, weddings, and funerals. Friends will be received at the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road, Paris, Ontario, on Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Paris Cemetery.
