Steven Albert Earl Payne (Steve)

Steven Albert Earl Payne (Steve) passed away at Chapman House Hospice in Owen Sound, Ontario, on February 3, 2026, in his 76th year, holding the hand of his devoted wife of 46 years, Aline. Born on May 7, 1950, in Brampton, Ontario, he was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Eunice Payne. Steve is survived by his cherished wife Aline, children Michelle (Chad) and Scott, grandchildren Ariel, Jack, Anabelle, Quinn, and Miguel, sisters Linda (late Murray), Lorie (Jan), and Susan (Eric), as well as brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. O'Flaherty, the staff at the Owen Sound Hospital 6th floor and Emergency department, the oncology and palliative care team in Owen Sound and Brampton, and Chapman House Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion.
