Neil Bouius

Neil Bouius of Owen Sound, Ontario, died on July 22, 2026, at the age of 86. He was born on December 31, 1939. He is survived by his wife Orion "Ruth" (Abernethy), his sons Peter (married to Julie) and Paul (married to Christine), his grandchildren Noah (with Melody), Brianna, Jadon, Tristan and Eli, his sibling Gail Wagner, his sister‑in‑law Eunice Abernethy, many nieces and nephews, and his dogs Funny and King. He was predeceased by his parents Gerrit Bouius and Wiebkje "Wendy" Bouius (Klaver); his siblings Edith Binnendyk (married to Dick), Binnie Van Beek (married to Hank), Harry Bouius, Ann Haverson, Rudi Bouius (married to Ria); and his brothers‑in‑law Frank Wagner and Don Forrest.
