Karen Adlam

Karen Elizabeth Adlam (nee Gilchrist) passed away peacefully with her loving husband by her side at Brightshores Health System in Owen Sound on March 21, 2024, at the age of 72. Born in Brampton on July 10, 1951, she was the beloved wife for 40 years of Wilford Adlam of Owen Sound. She is lovingly remembered by her son Jason Adlam and his wife Louise, and cherished grandmother of Connor Adlam (Megan) and Walker Adlam (Dea-Vonnie Stewart), all of Orlando, Florida. Also loved by her niece Kim Rankin (Paul) and their children Jillian and Eric (Madylin), and by her niece Kelly Theriault (Mike) and their children Ella, Matthew and Kyle. Karen was predeceased by her parents Charles and Jeanne Gilchrist, in-laws Wilford and Leotta Adlam, sister Pat Budd (Larry), brother-in-law Rae Adlam, and by her sister-in-law Doreen Schnurr. Visitation will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 - 14th St. W., Owen Sound, on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 11 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Owen Sound.
