Hatsuko Fukushima

The family of Hatsuko Fukushima announces her passing on September 6, 2026, in Owen Sound, Ontario. Hatsuko is fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was predeceased by her husband, Masamitsu, and her parents, Mitsuo Urata and Meji Urata. Hatsuko is survived by her children, Masayuki (Rosanne), Mieko (Stephen Smith), Naomi (Kevin Giffen), and Doreen (Robert Fuller). She leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren, Shane Fukushima, Tanya Fukushima, Brekken Crawford (Pierce), Jennifer Lanthier (Timothy), Graham Smith, Mia Giffen (Benjamin), Kailey Giffen (Nickolas), Reilly Giffen, Aiya Fuller, and Emi Fuller, as well as her great-grandchildren, Tyra, Takara, Brixton, Sofie, Noah, and Rowan.
